Spotlight on Excellence: Jolie Goh

At RexArts, we believe in nurturing not only skilled Wushu athletes but also well-rounded individuals who demonstrate values like perseverance, discipline, and heart. One of our RTISTs, Jolie Goh, has truly embodied all of these qualities through her journey both on and off the mat.

Jolie’s dedication to Wushu has taken her to international platforms, including the 2022 World Junior Wushu Championships, where she earned a silver medal. What made that moment even more meaningful was the strength she showed through recovery, having trained and competed through a previous ankle injury.

Beyond Wushu, Jolie has also been making impressive strides academically. She managed to balance her training schedule while preparing for and excelling in her preliminary IBDP exams, all while competing in the World Taijiquan Championships.

Her journey reminds us that growth happens when you keep showing up, even when it’s tough. Jolie continues to inspire many young student-athletes in our community proving that focus, effort, and balance can lead to meaningful milestones.
