Congratulations to Ong Zi Meng on his performance at the 33rd SEA Games! He wrapped up 2025 by finishing 5th overall among Southeast Asia’s top Wushu athletes with a combined score of 29.133. Competing on a major international stage, Zi Meng stepped up with focus and determination, giving his best in every routine and proving his ability at the highest level.
Zi Meng opened the competition strongly in Changquan, scoring 9.753 to place third, before following up with another solid showing in Daoshu, earning 9.750. Bringing him to an overall second placing combined score. In his final event, Gunshu, he delivered a committed performance and scored 9.630. Despite a minor deduction of 0.1, Zi Meng’s performances across all three events showcased consistency, confidence, and the ability to perform at a high level.
We are proud of the way Zi Meng represented Singapore with heart and determination. His journey at the Games reminds us that progress is built through consistent effort, resilience, and the courage to take on challenges. We congratulate Zi Meng on this milestone and look forward to seeing him continue to challenge his limits on the international stage.
